Adani Enterprises Ltd. expects to get 108.7 billion rupees ($1.3 billion) by selling its residual stake in AWL Agri Business Ltd. as the ports-to-power conglomerate exits non-core activities to focus on its mainstay infrastructure businesses like renewables and airports. Billionaire Gautam Adani-led firm has agreed to sell a 20% stake in AWL – formerly Adani Wilmar Ltd. – to partner Wilmar International Ltd. 's unit Lence Pte. at 275 rupees a share, it said in a stock exchange filing Thursday.

The German family shareholders of KNDS NV aim to reduce their ownership in the European tankmaker through a listing or stake sale to tap growing investor demand in defense companies, people with knowledge of the matter said. The family members behind Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, which merged with France's Nexter to create KNDS, have informed the German government that they're considering selling part of their 50% stake and looking at options including an IPO and partial divestment, said the people. As part of this, Berlin is in the early stages of studying the purchase of a blocking minority of 25.1%, according to some of the people.

Piramal family to sell up to 32% stake in India's VIP Industries, triggers open offer

July 13 (Reuters) - India's VIP Industries ( opens new tab on Sunday announced that Chairman Dilip Piramal and his family have entered an agreement with the Multiples Consortium to sell a stake of up to 32% in the company. The transaction will trigger an open offer in accordance with the Indian market regulator SEBI's Takeover Regulations, the statement said. Upon completion of the transaction, control of VIP Industries will transfer to Multiples Private Equity, while the Piramal family will remain shareholders in the company. Dilip Piramal will be Chairman Emeritus, the company added. The transaction, including the open offer, is subject to approval by the Competition Commission of India and will be in accordance with the SEBI Takeover Regulations, VIP said.

Macquarie Is Said to Weigh Sale of Singapore Petrochemical Asset

Macquarie Group Ltd. 's asset management arm is considering selling its 50% stake in a chemical storage terminal at Singapore's Jurong Island, according to people familiar with the matter. Macquarie Asset Management is working with a financial adviser on the potential disposal of the stake in Advario Singapore Chemical Pte, which may attract interest from infrastructure-focused funds and industry players, the people said, asking not to be identified because the deliberations are private. A stake sale could fetch several hundred million dollars, the people said.
